IGC - International Gurman Club s.r.o.has been providing catering and gastronomic services in German international food fair Internationale Grüne Woche in Berlin for Czech and foreign subjects for 20 years. In 2005 Czech Republic got a very prestigious position of „Partner country“. IGC was entrusted with organising of entire program and catering. IGC employees provided official dinners, smaller banquets for state representatives, but in particular the „giant“ banquet on the occasion of the opening ceremonial for 5 000 guests. The banquet was held in ICC - International Congres Centrum Berlin in Charloenburg. Refreshment was prepared by 20 chefs, under the supervisit of IGC´s master chefs Filip Bárta and Tomáš Záhorský. 30 beer, wine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic bars and more than 200 waiters were used within the event. 35 000 sandwich was made from entirely Czech products. This banquet is the largest event organised by IGC.
